Easter Day Sunday 27th March 2005
We arrived at Lidkoping hall ready for the morning Song festival/ Holiness meeting. As the title suggests this was a combination of a short festival given by the songsters and a short Holiness meeting led by Trevor Davis. This meeting went very well and we felt the Lord close to us as we stated by singing ‘Alive’ declaring that Christ IS alive.
After the meeting it was over to a museum complex the other side of the river for lunch, so the whole corps and the songsters walked over to have lunch. After lunch there was just time for a look around the museum before our departure for Orebro which was about 160km from Lidkoping.
All too soon it was time to leave so we made our way to Orebro. Tonight we were all to be put up in the hotel next door to the Hall at Orebro, so we unloaded the coach and took our rooms before going into the hall tea. The festival was to be in Orebro Pentecostal Church so after tea we went there to set up. The festival was once again a capacity congregation and was greatly enjoyed by those that came along. We retired to our hotel afterwards and relaxed.
