Easter Saturday 26th March 2005
This was the second full day of the tour, we said farewell to our billets and boarded the bus to depart for Skovde which was about 160km away.
Our routine now included our daily devotions as we travelled on the coach. These were led by Trevor Davis our executive officer for the tour and they became a regular source of reflection and blessing as we travelled along. We were very grateful for the ministry of Lt Col Trevor Davis during the whole of the tour.
We duly arrived at Skovde where the good people there gave us lunch which was once again delicious.
We had our lunch and then departed for the Festival venue at Varsas church at 15:00.This was a very picturesque location as you will see from the pictures. This church seemed to be in a small village almost in the middle of nowhere, but as the festival time approached, the people started to arrive and we had a capacity congregation once again for the festival.
Yet again we were overwhelmed by the reaction of the people and how they said they had enjoyed the music and that they had received such a blessing. We left Vasas in high spirits having blessed these people and in turn been blessed ourselves.
Our next stop was Bo’s the bus drivers own Corps which was Lidkoping where we were to be part of the Easter Party with the Lidkoping Corps folk.
