This was the final day of the tour and going home day. It hardly seemed possible that it was all over after all the anticipation and planning. We met at Stockholm South Corps and had refreshments and a look around the building, this is one of the newest SA halls in Sweden, and we were in the oldest at the Temple the previous night. A talk on the work of the Corps was given then we had our devotions led by Trevor Davis, we sang ‘When I survey the wondrous Cross’ at Trevor’s request and we were all brought near to God in that place. It was free time now so we went shopping and sightseeing in Stockholm before having dinner in Ahlens Store before leaving for the airport.
Derby Central Songsters would like to thank all those in Sweden who organised the tour, fed us, took us in, attended our festivals and were so friendly and good to us. We felt that the Lord richly blessed us through you and you through us, may God continue to bless you and the work of the Salvation Army in Sweden.
